Is it weird to burn candles in the bathroom?
Is it safe to burn candles in a capped-off gas fireplace?
We have never and probably never will use the gas in the fireplace but I'd like to put candles in it. The gas is capped off but I feel like an open flame in there might be dangerous.

Can you burn candles above a heater?
I know this may sound really stupid, but can you burn candles above a heater? I've recently moved to the North, and am renting an apartment on the second floor of a house, the house uses oil heating and I've got a heater in the wall in my living room, I decorated it by placing candles on top of it, and I was burning them the other night and realized, wait a second. I know gas with an open flame is dangerous, but I'm not sure like I said I know I sound really, really stupid but I have no idea. I can take a picture of the heater if needed. Thank you guys who will help, and trolls keep on trollin' this is a very troll worthy question, I'm aware .

Candle wont stay lit?
I have tried trimming the wick.I have tried scooping away wax from around the wick.Yet, all of my candles now either won't stay lit after a few minutes or the wick turns black right away.My candles are all burning a hole down the center. Should I scoop away the extra candle from all around and level it out flat? I'm only scooping out the wax around the wick right now .

Why are there so many Yankee Candles for sale in the Midlands (UK)?
I have visited both Rugeley and Stafford and both have been overrun by these candles. What is going on? Almost every retailer in these town stocks these candles, I have seen people walking about the place carrying bags emblazoned with the Yankee Candle logo. Please, will someone tell me what the hell is going on?
